This includes uploading a part image for easy reference, specifying a mandatory part name to avoid duplicates, adding notes, and creating the first batch. This initial batch can include details like the purchase date, vendor information, cost, and even the expiration date if applicable.

Where can I edit a part's information? 

Our auto parts inventory software provides easy access to editing part information. You can locate the part you want to modify within the Inventory > Parts listing and access the edit function. Alternatively, you can edit part details directly from the side panel for a more efficient workflow.

How do I add a batch for a part? 

Adding batches to parts allows you to track specific quantities purchased at a particular time. To create a new batch, navigate to the Inventory > Parts screen. Within the part details, you'll find the option to add a batch. You can enter detailed information, including the vendor, warehouse location (with a drop down for easy selection), stock room and rack number, custom fields for specific categories, purchase quantity (mandatory), cost per unit, total purchase cost with discounts and taxes, and notes or images for reference.

How does it track part usage across different work orders and services?
