Gather all your fuel data accurately and quickly in one place. Understand and manage your fuel consumption and fuel costs which helps to reduce operating costs and cost of ownership.
Fuel consumption or efficiency or mileage is an important metric for fleets, it helps fleet managers manage costs, identify inefficiencies and make data-driven decisions that impact the bottom line
Simply Fleet lets you track the fuel consumption of each vehicle in your choice of unit based on your location. Choose from MPG (US or UK), L/100km, and km/L. Fuel efficiency can also help you appoint the correct vehicles for the assignment.
Any deviation from the regular economy could mean certain issues like driving behavior issues, fuel theft, or the need for maintenance.
Fuel is the most significant expenditure faced by any fleet. With a fuel management system, you can easily monitor your fleet's fuel usage and optimize its efficiency. You can see exactly where your vehicle is spending the most fuel, what type of fuel you use, and how efficient your vehicle really is.
With real-time updates from drivers and operators, get actionable insights and stay on top of your fuel trends
A mobile first approach allows drivers and operators across the organisation to access fleet data wherever they are. Drivers or operators can easily add fuel fill-ups and upload fuel receipts on the go from anywhere on their smartphones.
With our central cloud repository, this information is relayed immediately to the fleet manager or fleet owner. Real-time data about fuel consumption enable companies to make decisions based on accurate information. This allows them to manage their resources effectively and improve their bottom lines.
Fleet managers can track efficiency and look at the trends on our dashboard. Fuel efficiency dashboards are helping in better manage their fleet operations and save money. These tools allow managers to monitor trends, spot deficiencies and optimize vehicle usage all with an easy, intuitive dashboard that makes it easier than ever to see how much you're spending on gas.
You can view detailed reports showing you how much fuel your vehicle uses over time, including miles driven, gallons used, and miles per gallon. You can also compare your current mileage against previous months, and set goals to improve your overall fuel economy. Statistics like fuel cost per day, total fuel cost, and fuel cost per mile give fleet owners & managers deep insights into their fuel requirements and costs.
The fleet vehicle inspection process is an important step in ensuring that vehicles are safe and compliant. Learn about the different types of inspections and what they mean.
Preventive maintenance is the best way for fleets to reduce and avoid accidents or vehicle breakdowns.
Vehicle & Asset Management is designed to help small business owners track their vehicle assets.
You can bulk import your records using Menu > Fill-ups > More > Import CSV.
A partial tank refers to a situation in which you have not filled your vehicle's fuel tank at full capacity. The app cannot accurately calculate your fuel efficiency based on that single fill-up.
Imagine: You fill your tank partially at an odometer reading 1000, but don't record the amount.
Then, you fill it with an odometer reading 1200 and 10 liters. You know you traveled 200 km between these fill-ups, so efficiency = 10 liters / 200 km = 5 liters/100 km.
Let's say you partially fill your tank again at an odometer reading 1300 with 5 liters. Travel 100 km before your next fill-up.
We don't know how much fuel you used in that 100 km because the tank wasn't complete initially. So, the app can't calculate the fuel efficiency for that trip.
What happens next?
You fill your tank again with an odometer reading of 1500 and 10 liters. We know the total fuel used for the combined distance of both trips (300 km) is 15 liters (5 liters + 10 liters).
The app can finally calculate the average efficiency for both trips as 15 liters / 300 km = 5 liters per 100 km.
Remember: Only full tank fill-ups provide enough information for accurate efficiency calculations. Partial fill-ups make the calculation incomplete and unreliable. The app will wait for a full tank before showing your efficiency for partial fill-up trips.
Tip: For the most accurate results, always fill your tank each time you record a fill-up in the app.
If you forget to add one or more of your previous fill-ups, you can tick the ‘Missed Previous Fill Up’ box. This will recalculate the efficiency based on the new record values between the earlier existing fill-ups.
Yes, this is possible in our fuel management mobile app. To do this, click the Settings icon (next to the Save icon) on the Add Fill-up screen. Here, select the option for 'Trip Distance'.
Yes! Drivers can directly attach images of fill-up receipts or extract fill-up data from those receipts with our AI fuel receipt scan feature, as provided in the app. This data will be available on the cloud for their manager/admin to see and download.
